Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1934-S 50C MS66 PCGS. Splashes of pink, mauve, and lilac-gray toning imbue the pearlescent silver surfaces of this Premium Gem 1934-S with outstanding eye appeal. Satiny mint luster glows from every angle. While the issue is occasionally well-struck, the current example far exceeds expectations with sharp definition on Liberty's head. The branch hand displays a distinct thumb and some finger detail. Strong gown lines show only a few minute ticks and no marks of consequence. Likewise, the eagle's leg and feather details are above average. Housed in a first-generation "rattler" holder. PCGS lists only eight numerically finer examples of the issue (9/17).
