1936 50C PR66 PCGS. CAC. In 1936, Mint officials took up proof production for the first time since 1915. Only 3,901 Walking Liberty half dollars were struck in proof format that year -- the lowest total in the series. As one should expect, the design features are fully impressed on this satiny, all-brilliant Premium Gem. A single spot of color occurs between two of the sun's rays. Exceptionally clean and remarkably appealing.
