Early Dollars
1800 $1 Wide Date, Low 8, B-10, BB-190, R.3, XF40 PCGS. Bowers Die State VI. Several prominent cracks through the reverse legend, namely the C in AMERICA, confirm the late die state. This obverse die was also used to strike the famous AMERICAI dollars. Both sides exhibit pinpoint detail and excellent centering with normal friction over the highest points of Liberty's portrait and the eagle. Light patina graces the border areas. Housed in a green label holder.
