Trade Dollars
1876 T$1 Type One Obverse, Type One Reverse, MS64 PCGS. A study conducted by Heritage Cataloger and Senior Numismatist Mark Borckardt revealed that circulation-strike 1876 Trade dollars with a Type One Obverse and Reverse are about twice as scarce as those with a Type One Obverse and Type Two Reverse. Distinguishing marks include the scroll tip pointing left, three fingers on the branch hand, and a berry under the eagle's claw. Lively mint luster shines through golden patina that minimizes small marks. Strongly defined despite a hint of softness on the head.
