A few faint grazes on the cheek limit the grade, but these vanish at certain angles, leaving the coin seemingly pristine. The reverse periphery shows rich lavender and gold toning. Slight strike weakness is seen on the eagle's breast feathers. PCGS has seen five Superb Gems finer (9/17).
