1937 50C Antietam MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Struck to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam, the single bloodiest day in American history. The surfaces on each side are light in color with vibrant, lightly frosted mint luster. Pale lilac-rose and lime green toning is seen on both obverse and reverse with just slightly deeper margins. An exceptionally attractive example of this popular commemorative half dollar.
