1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial Quarter Eagle MS65 PCGS. A lovely, frosty Gem example of the final gold issue in the classic commemorative series. This luminous Sesquicentennial quarter eagle, struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, shows no major abrasions and has strong eye appeal. A few tiny coppery discolorations appear on each side under a loupe.
