Liberty Double Eagles
1876 $20 MS62 NGC. From a mintage of 583,905 pieces, the 1876 Liberty double eagle is relatively available in grades up to the MS62 level, but finer coins are elusive. This attractive MS62 specimen displays well-detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces with a number of scattered, minor contact marks on both sides. The 1876 is always popular as the final issue of the Type Two design.
