Liberty Double Eagles
1907-D $20 MS63 PCGS. The 1907-D is renowned as the final issue in the Liberty Head double eagle series and one of just two issues produced at the Denver Mint. A total of 842,250 coins were struck, and fewer examples survive in high grades than its Philadelphia or S-mint counterparts. Satiny surfaces offer attractive shades of yellow and peach-gold color. The star radials and hair curls are boldly delineated. Small ticks occur throughout, but none are singularly important.
