1923 $20 MS65 PCGS. Gem condition 1923 double eagles are scarce, and the finest examples realistically available. PCGS reports four finer submissions, and none are graded higher at NGC (8/17). Peach-gold color and glittering frost coalesce over each side. Liberty's face and torch hand are strong. A few stray bagmarks in the left obverse field limit the grade.
