1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-192, Pollock-235, Snow-PT13, R.5, PR63 ANACS. The obverse is the familiar Small Letters 1858 cent. The pattern reverse generally resembles the 1860 regular issue reverse, but there is no shield at the top and the wreath is closed. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This is a frequently encountered Flying Eagle cent pattern. Seen here, the fields display remarkable depth of reflectivity on each side. Attractive red patina is seen over each side with a dab of yellow on the left portion of the obverse. Fully struck in all areas.
