1868 3CN Three Cent Nickel, Judd-618, Pollock-687, R.4, PR65 NGC. Similar to the regular issue three cent nickel, but the devices on both sides are set in larger fields. In addition, the Roman numerals on the reverse are smooth and without ribs. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. These were issued in three-piece sets along with the one cent (Judd-608) and five cent (Judd-633). Brilliant throughout and deeply mirrored in the fields with pleasing, problem-free surfaces.
