Postumus. Romano-Gallic Emperor, AD 260-269. Æ Double Sestertius (31mm, 17.34 g, 12h). Treveri (Trier) mint. 3rd bronze emission, AD 261. [IMP C M] CASS LAT POS[TVMVS P F AVG], radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / [LA]ETITIA [AVG], galley left with mast and four oarsmen and a steersman. RIC V 148; Mairat –; Bastien 89; Banti –. Near VF, dark brown and green patina, rough obverse. Well struck reverse with an unusual depiction of the mast, perhaps with a furled sail.
