EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.92 g, 2h). Reverse imitating Amphipolis mint issue struck under Kassander, circa 307-297 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, Λ above torch; below throne, star surmounted by crescent. For prototype, cf. Price 478.
