CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.21 g, 12 h). Celticized head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. IΛIΠΠVI Celticized Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing right with closed wings; to left, monogram. Lanz 939. OTA pl. 45, 591.
