PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Artaxerxes III to Darios III, circa 350-333 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 13 mm, 2.32 g). The Persian Great King, wearing kidaris and kandys, in kneeling-running stance to right, holding spear in his right hand and bow in his left; countermark: star within incuse circle. Rev.
