The reverse legend translates as: '(coin of) the Galatian Tolistobogii, the people of Pessinus'. The Tolistobogii were one of the Celtic tribes that migrated to central Asia Minor in the 3rd century BC, an area which was consequently named after its Gaulish inhabitants.
