A choice Marlik bronze stamp seal, ca. 1200 - 800 B.C. With tapered stalk handle with knob and collar ornament; on base a bird with open wings and large feet. L: 3.6 cm; Dia: 2.43 cm. Nicely patinated with remnants of bronze wire through top of handle. Ex California Museum of Art De-Accession, acquired 1989. Est. Value $300 - $400.
