Harappan Jar, ca. 1500 - 1800 B.C. A fine Harappan jar from the northern Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 BC. This well-made example is 5-1/4” in diameter and is decorated with a register of Oryx antelopes painted against a red background, as well as linear designs. Strong mineral deposits and root marks.
