The Old Man and Temple design type of Pick 4A is easily South Vietnam's most coveted design type. Its aesthetics are renowned among numismatists world wide, making it a prized note for any specialized world paper auction. The face of this Giori test note shows the Old Man on the face facing the young woman from the back of the finalized design. Between the two is the word "ECHANTILLON" and "1250" is seen at lower right. On the back is a scene of water buffalo pulling carts. A diagonal portion at center is printed without design details.
