GREAT BRITAIN. George II, 1727-60. Gold 2 Guineas 1738, London. 16.8 g. S-3667B. A very attractive specimen with a great deal of lustre. Just a few faint lines and minor abrasion on the highest points refrains from a higher grade. Seldom seen in Mint State, one recent example (also MS61) sold in Heritage Auctions August sale for $7,600 (incl. premium). In US plastic holder, graded PCGS MS61, certification number 34022501.
