(annulet) ЄD WΛRD : DЄI : GRA : RЄX : ΛnGL: DnS : hУB · (retrograde Z) · AQ T (salitre and double saltire stops), king standing facing, holding sword and shield, in ship with bowsprit; ornaments -11-11, ropes 3/2, quatrefoils 3/4, lis 4; double saltire stops / + IhC : ΛVTЄm : TRΛNSIЄNS : PЄR : mЄDIV : ILLORVm : IBAT, ornate cross with lis at ends and small Є in center; crowned lions passant in quarters; fleurs in spandrils; double saltire stops. Lawrence 1; Doubleday 217; Schneider –; North 1232; SCBC 1503. Near VF, once creased, resulting in several cracked areas along crease (barely visible unless held to light).
