Bulgaria. People's Republic silver "Year of the Child" Proof Piefort 10 Leva 1979 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Bulgarian mint, KM-P3. Mintage: 2,000. Among the most pleasingly designed issues in the series, showcasing a whimsical depiction of boys dancing and a floral motif that circles the edges. Similar to several other issues in this series, we question the published mintage figure, as we've observed very few survivors of this type in Piefort format and NGC and PCGS combined have only graded six examples. Of those grade, this piece happens to be the single finest certified.
