SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.68 g, 1 h), c. 317-310. NK Wreathed head of Arethusa to left; around, three dolphins. Rev. ΣYPAKOΣIΩN Charioteer driving quadriga to left; above, triskeles to left; in exergue, monogram of AI. Ierardi 48 (O9/R26). Nicely toned. Struck on a slightly tight flan, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
