KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 17.03 g, 12 h), uncertain mint, possibly Kalchedon?, c. 280-250 BC. Diademed head of Alexander to right, with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated to left on throne; behind, transverse spear; inner left, monogram of ΠΡΤ. Müller -. Thompson -. See Roma e-Sale 25, 69 for a similar monogram. Some die rust in Alexander's mouth, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
