KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 16.96 g, 6 h), Amphipolis, c. 307-297 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, Λ over torch. Price 443. Well centred and with an attractive dark patina. Good very fine.
