KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.05 g, 2 h), struck under Seleukos I, Babylon, c. 318/7-315 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ Zeus seated on throne to left, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; in field to left, thunderbolt over monogram of ΧΔΩΡ; below throne, Z. Price P141. Lightly toned. Very fine.
