KINGS OF MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes, 306-283 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.92 g, 1 h), Salamis, c. 300-295. Nike alighting on a galley prow to left. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY Poseidon, nude but for a chlamys wrapped around his left arm, striding left and hurling trident from his upraised right hand; to left, monogram of HP; to right, bipennis. Newell 22. Obverse slightly off center, otherwise, good fine.
