CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 345-340 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 8.12 g, 9 h). Pegasus flying left with pointed wing, below Ϙ. Rev. Α Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing pearl necklace and Corinthian helmet with laurel wreath on the bowl; behind neck, aegis with Gorgon's head. Pegasi 427. Ravel 1009c. Nicely toned and well struck. About extremely fine.
