SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos VI Dionysos, 144-142 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.35 g, 1 h), Antioch on the Orontes, year 169 = 144/143. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos VI to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ANTIOXOY EΠΙΦANOYΣ ΔIONYΣOY The dioscuri on prancing horses to left; to right, TPY above monograms of XAP and ΣTA; to left, ΘΞΡ; all within lotus wreath. SC 2000.2f. Toned and clear. Minor flan crack at 3' and minor marks over all, otherwise, about very fine.
