INDIA, Gupta Empire. Kumaragupta I, 415-455. Dinar (Gold, 21 mm, 8.12 g, 12 h), Horseman type. Kumaragupta, nimbate, riding horse prancing to right. Rev. The goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, seated left on wicker stool, holding diadem and lotus. Altekar pl. X, 14. BMC Guptas 205. Toned and attractive; struck on a broad flan. Reverse slightly doublestruck, otherwise, good very fine.
