KINGS OF NUMIDIA. Massinissa or Micipsa, 203-148 BC or 148-118 BC. Unit (Bronze, 27 mm, 14.37 g, 11 h). Laureate head to left. Rev. Horse galloping left; below, pellet. Mazard 50. SNG Copenhagen 505. Struck from dies of particularly fine style, and with a lovely dark glossy patina. Some flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
