KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, the Cappadocian, AD 6-12. Dichalkon (Bronze, 17 mm, 5.42 g, 1 h), Artagigarta?. Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟΥ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ Elephant standing left. Kovacs 183. Nercessian 172 (as Tigranes IV.). Dark glossy patina. Reverse struck slightly off centre, otherwise, very fine.
