SICILY. Gela. Circa 480/75-475/70 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.81 g, 12 h). Quadriga driven slowly to right by a bearded charioteer; above, Nike flying right to crown the horses. Rev. CΕΛΑΣ Forepart of man-headed bull to right. Jenkins, Gela 169 (O48 R99). SNG ANS. 37 (same dies). SNG München 276 (same obverse die). Die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
