Anonymous PB Tessera of Egypt. Uncertain RY of an uncertain emperor, circa 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Male figure standing right, crowned by Nike, who advances left and holds palm; between them, agonistic urn(?); sceptre(?) in left field / Nilus seated right, holding cornucopiae and reed; before, Alexandria(?) standing left, raising hand; crocodile in left field, L-[?] (date) in exergue. For obverse, Cf. Dattari (Savio) 6437 (no object between); Köln 3572 (cantharus between); for reverse, cf. Dattari (Savio) pl. 322, 6451-6473 (undated). 4.98g, 20mm, 11h.
