JODHPUR: MERTA & "BUDSU":LOT of 3 rupees from the Merta mint and 3 from the unknown, tentatively assigned by Lingen to Budsu: Merta: in the name of Shah Alam II, Lingen-M.03.01 (year 30, 31, and 32); and "Budsu", in the name of Muhammad Akbar II, Lingen-U.04.01, undated (3 pcs); all but one in VF-EF condition; retail value $300, lot of 6 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Merta produced abundant rupees circa 1799-1810; all other Merta rupees are very rare.
