VF); Kodikonda: (2) fanam (0.37g), crawling cobra obverse, uncertain Nagari reverse text (W-T3, EF); (3) same as the last (0.36g), but with crawling cobra differently arranged, very weak Nagari reverse (W-T4, VF); (4) ½ fanam (0.18g), in the name of Alamgir II, blank reverse, so not assigned to a specific mint (AU); an important group of three rare Maratha gold coins and one Mughal fraction (probably also issued by the Marathas); retail value $450, lot of 4 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection.
