DURRANI:LOT of 40 copper coins of the Kashmir mint: A-3102: (Taimur Shah) AH1200 year 13 (2 pcs), 1201 year 13 (3 pcs), year 13 (3 pcs), year 14 (2 pcs), year 15 (2 pcs), and year 1x (3 pcs); A-3111: (Shah Zaman) 1212 year 6, 1212 year off (2 pcs), 1214 year 8 (2 pcs, including one lovely EF condition), 1214 year off, and DM (2 pcs); A-3117: (Shah Mahmud, 1st reign) 1216 year one, year 3, DM, uncertain attribution (4 pcs, tentatively assigned to Mahmud); A-3124: (Shah Shuja', 2nd reign) 1221 (3 pcs), year 4 (2 pcs), and DM; and A-3127: (Mahmud Shah, 2nd reign) 1225 year 3, 1225 with year off flan (2 pcs); plus one unidentified crudely struck example; average Fine to VF, some quite attractive, but later issues crudely struck as always, a nice collection of this series, of which only Taimur Shah is relatively common, the others rare in any condition; retail value $840, lot of 40 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection.
