Rx: Owl standing r., head front, to l. olive sprig with two leaves, to r. ethnic AT[?].Like the previous two issues these tetradrachms were struck in no doubt large quantities very quickly to finance the successful Athenian war against the Persians. While this coin has a planchet defect at 12:00 from before striking, it has a beautifully centered obverse and a very powerful reverse. VF
