Near Eastern Samarian Black Stone Seal; ca. 4th Century BC. Depicts male, kneeling to left and holding a gazelle as a trophy or, perhaps, a sacrifice. Two Aramaic letters to left, gimel, above, and bet below. These letters possibly refer to "Bagabat" a name that appears on Samarian coinage. The person on this seal very much resembles the person appearing on Samarian Coinage #46, which carries the name "Jerobaum." Ex Harlan J. Berk, Ltd.
