Complete Documented Group of Varshavsky Lev Mikhailovich. Group comes with: • Order of Lenin # 923. Type 3. Official "REISSUE" award for the Type 2, "Gold Head". Comes with original silver screwback nut. • Order of Red Star #1092441. • Order's Book, listing these two awards (contains photo of the recipient wearing his Order of Lenin). These are the only decorations listed. The Order of Lenin was bestowed in 1935, with privileges authorized since April 1, 1935. However, the current Order's Book was issued on March 11, 1941, hence, this Order's Book is a replacement, which was the standard practice of the time, since the original would have been still showcasing a signature of "enemy of the state". All items in excellent condition, Order of Lenin exhibits only a few superficial scratches on red enamel, the Order's Book shows normal wear. Estimated Value $7,500
