Diademed head of Alexander the Great right, wearing elephant's skin headdress / AΛEΞANΔPOY, Athena advancing right; in right field, ΔI and helmet above eagle standing right. Svoronos 169. SNG Copenhagen 30. Overstruck on another tetradrachm, with some traces of flattened undertype in reverse fields, otherwise a splendid example, well centered on a broad flan, and beautifully toned.
