Paleo-Hebrew SMA (abbreviating Simon), the letters in a triangle, within wreath of thin branches wrapped around eight almonds, medallion at top, tendrils at bottom / Eleazar the priest, fluted jug, handle on left, willow branch on right. Mildenberg 175, 6.2 (this coin). Hendin 1384 var. TJC 235 (these dies). AJC I pl. 267,18 (these dies). Extremely rare! Some greenish deposits, faint traces of undertype.
