With an extraordinarily pure fineness of .99999, this experimental one ounce gold issue exhibits impeccable matte surfaces and a prooflike nature to the devices. A similar PCGS MS69 realized a hammer of $2,200 in our 2014 CICF auction (sale 3032, lot 24338).
