Presently unsurpassed in grade at PCGS, this delightful 50 francs exhibits radiant qualities throughout and surfaces that are minimally marked, especially on the reverse, which possesses Gem characteristics. If not for a small luster graze in the right obverse field, this example would have almost certainly obtained near-Gem status.
