Prussia. Wilhelm II gold Proof 10 Mark 1905-A PR66 Cameo NGC, Berlin mint, KM520, Fr-3835. Obv. Bust of Wilhelm II right. Rev. Crowned eagle with date and value. A superb example, with a touch of greenish-gold patina over surfaces nearly mark-free. The devices are nicely frosted, and the fields deeply mirrored, yielding sharp cameo contrast. Only three examples have been certified by NGC and PCGS combined, with this being the finest certified and the only piece given the "Cameo" designation. Very rare, with a tiny Proof mintage of only 117 pieces.
