Edward IV (2nd Reign, 1471-1483) gold Angel 1471 UNC Details (Rim Filing) NGC, London mint, Short cross fitchee mm, S-2091, N-1626. St. Michael spearing dragon / A ship at sea, an "Є" and rose to either side of masthead. An excellent example of this issue with particularly fine details struck up on St. Michael. We were unable to locate any filing along the edges, although the NGC prongs do limit visibility, but we must note a small graffito to the right of the upper mast on the reverse.
