George II Crown 1751 MS61 NGC, Royal mint, KM585.2, Dav-1351, S-3690, V. QVARTO edge. A tremendously toned example of this highly pleasing crown, exhibiting a deep cabinet appeal highlighted by an underlying, lustrous brilliance. A few light adjustment marks are noted on his cheek, along with a minor scratch, but it nevertheless remains a charming type. A rather high grade for the date, as NGC has certified only two finer.
