Great Britain
George III silver Proof Pattern "Garter" Bank Dollar 1804 PR60 NGC, KM-Pn66, L&S-91, ESC-1963. Mostly tone-free with original reflectivity in the fields mixing with a fair amount of handling that defines the grade. A popular pattern type that interestingly enough, was struck decades prior its famous American brethren, the 1804 Bust dollar, which carries with it a multi-million dollar price. This issue, modestly valued in comparison, has an accompanying valuation of $15,000 in the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
