ΘΕΟΔΩΡ ΚΟΛΟΚΟΤΡΟΝΗΣ ΑΡΧΙΣΤΡΑΤΗΓΟΣ Κ ΝΙΚΗΤΑΣ ΣΤΑΜΑΤΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ ΣΤΡΑΤΗΓΟΣ, conjoined heads of Theodoros Kolokotronis (commander-in-chief) and Nikitas Stamatopoulos (general) left. Rev. ΚΑΤΑΠΑΤΗΣΕΙ ΑΥΤΟΝ ΨΥΧΗ ΜΟΥ ΔΥΝΑΤΗ, ΝΕΜΕΑ ΑΥΓΟΥΣ, scene featuring a Greek soldier standing right, holding a horse by its reins and preparing to attack a fallen Turkish soldier below. Pleasing reddish-brown surfaces, with bold strike, high relief, and prooflike fields. From an interesting and rare series of 12 medals struck on the occasion of the marriage of King Otho and Queen Amelia in 1836.
